The plight of Black children, who as a group rate poorly when measured against the social determinants of health standards, is well known and has been discussed at length in our community and beyond. Ujima Fathering was founded on the belief that Black fathers working within the Ujima Village Framework with the necessary resources, education and supports can be the “game changers” for our children.
